The Mifflinburg 4th of July Committee invites you to participate in the Mifflinburg 5K Run.

The 5K Race was first organized by Tom Muchler, a dedicated runner, community servant, organizer, and networker. Tom served as the race director until his death in May of 2002. Read more History of the 5K Race.

The day will be full of good food, friends and fun things to see and do.

Goals of the Race Committee

• Provide a kick-off to a full day of community oriented activities.
• Provide a fast race course with a hill to challenge both the speedsters and hill climbers.
• Provide residents and former residents of Mifflinburg with a reunion of sorts in the form of a race.
• Provide visitors to the area with an opportunity to experience an old time 4th of July in a picturesque rural community.
• Provide an opportunity for a full day of recreation and exercise: Fun Run for kids, 5K for adults, swim for the whole family.
• Provide for runners quality premiums and awards at a reasonable price.
• Provide for runners a collegial as well as competitive running environment.
