2009 5K Race Results

The Mifflinburg 5K Race Committee is pleased to announce the results of the 2009 5K race.

The Men's overall winner was Chris Spooner of Lewisburg, who finished in 15:18. The Women's overall winner was Katie Sick, Millville, who finished in 19:32.

The Top 3 Finishers and 5K Run Results are now available online.

Bring your family and celebrate the 4th with us ... all Events are held at the Mifflinburg Community Park unless otherwise noted.

8:00 AM-2:00 PM - Coffee - Pastries - Lunch

9:00 AM - Tennis Tournament at Second Street Courts (Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club); SINGLES - 14 years old and under AND 15 years old and over; OPEN DOUBLES. Please preregister: Call Don Ulrich at 966-0559; Bring new unopened Wilson or Penn Championship balls.

9:00 AM - Mifflinburg 5K Race (3.1 mile) Contact Don Bowman at 966-0785.

10:00 AM & 10:15 AM - Children's Fun Runs (.5 mile)

11:30 AM - Pet Parade Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club. Forms at 11:00 AM on Fourth and Market Streets; Route: North on Fourth, West on Chestnut, North on Fifth to the Park.

12:30 PM - Registration for Horseshoes and Quoits - $5.00 registration per 2-member team

1:00 PM - Horseshoe and Quoit Pitching Contest

1:00 PM - Registration for Children's Games

2:00 PM - Children's Games

3:30 PM-6:00 PM - Chicken Barbeque Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club
